Hello! My name is Amy Martz. I hope to serve our community on the West Jordan City Council in
A BYU graduate, I taught at Taylorsville and Westbook Elementary schools in Granite School District. With a Masters in Educational Leadership, I was appointed as principal, in turn, to Oakwood, Redwood, Woodstock, and West Valley Elementary Schools. I became a National Board Certified Teacher. Completing joint JD and MPA degrees from the U of U, I became a Utah attorney in 2017. I currently teach Fourth Grade in the morning and run an “education centered” law practice in the afternoon.
I am the adoptive parent of four lively and charming children, ages ten to nineteen.
I promise to bring collaboration and compassion back to the political climate. I am a member of the moderate United Utah Party, where conversation takes priority over partisanship.
I ask for your support in this campaign and your vote this November.
